profile of sub-tle. sub-tle. "sub-tle." is a sound project formed by japanese guys since 2003, and it comes a solo project by Satoshi Okamoto from September 2008. From 2002 he is participating in "la! Düsseldorf / japandorf", a project led by Klaus Dinger (ex- Kraftwerk, Neu!, la! Düsseldorf). In 2003 an ex-member of sub-tle., Kazuyuki Onouchi and Satoshi Okamoto, who had met at Klaus Dinger's place, formed their band "Sub-tle." Their improvisational live performances in Germany, Belgium, Spain,France, and so on, have been very well received by the audiences in many European countries. Satoshi Okamoto has started his career in 1994. He has performed as a member of a digital-hardcore band and a guitar pop band, who have released 3 albums in total and who have won many first auditon-prizes. After his involvement with these bands, he has started his solo career in 1999. Apart from collaborating with the female J-Pop singer Kazumi Nikaido for her album and live performing as a supporting member for Jugo Nagisa at his concerts, he is also working together with a lot of poets, writers, photographers, and contemporary dancers. In 2001 he has moved to Düsseldorf in order to join Klaus Dinger's project. He offers his musical compositions and collaboration performance to artists and museums of modern arts dedicated to a great variety of fields in many countries. In June 2008 Satoshi Okamoto and Kazuyuki Onouchi has released their first CD "pre_mary" ( label : onpa))))) ® ) in the name of "sub-tle.". In Tokyo, Sapporo and Nagoya the songs from the Album "pre_mary" has come up No.1 in CRJ charts. From July 2009 sub-tle. (Satoshi Okamoto) has the base in Berlin.

profile of sub-tle. sub-tle. "sub-tle." ist ein Sound-Projekt, welches 2003 von Japanischen Künstlern gegründet wurde. Im September 2008 wurde es zu dem Soloprojekt von Satoshi Okamoto. Satoshi Okamoto arbeitete seit 2002 an dem Projekt "La! Düsseldorf/ Japandorf", welches von Klaus Dinger (Ex-Kraftwerk, Neu!, La! Düsseldorf) geleitet wurde. 2003 trafen er und Kazuyuki Onouchi sich innerhalb dieses Projektes und gründeten ihr eigenes Projekt "sub-tle." . Als "sub-tle." tourten sie mit live-Performances in ganz Europa. Das Japanische Duo hat sich die Improvisation mit elektronischen und akustischen live Klängen zum Thema gemacht. In Deutschland, Belgien, Spanien und Frankreich stießen sie mit ihren Performances auf große Begeisterung. Satoshi Okamoto begann seine Musikkarriere 1994. In diesem Jahr startete er ein Bandprojekt, welches sich mit digitalem Hardcore und Gitarrenpop beschäftigte. Insgesamt wurden drei Alben veröffentlicht und zahlreiche Auszeichnungen bei Musikwettbewerben gewonnen. 1999 begann Okamoto auch als Solokünstler zu arbeiten. Erste Arbeiten kamen zustande mit der Teilnahme an dem Album der Japanischen Künstlerin Kazumi Nikaidou und dem Support bei ihren Live-Touren. Eine weitere Zusammenarbeit fand mit dem Künstler Jugo Nagisa statt. Außerdem folgten zahlreiche Kollaborationen mit Dichtern, Schriftstellern, Fotographen und Tänzern in Japan. 2001 stieß Satoshi Okamoto zu dem Projekt "La! Düsseldorf/ Japandorf" von Klaus Dinger und verlagerte seinen Wohnsitz nach Düsseldorf. Parallel dazu entwickelte er seinen eigenen Sound und startet auch hier wieder Kollaborationen auf internationaler Ebene in Tanz-und Kunstprojekten und in der Zusammenarbeit mit verschiedenen Künstlern. Im Juni 2008 veröffentlichten Satoshi Okamoto und Kazuyuki Onouchi unter dem Namen "sub-tle." ihr erstes Album "pre_mary" ( label : onpa))))) ® ) und tourten damit in Deutschland, Belgien, Japan und Frankreich. profile of sub-tle. sub-tle. _ サヴトレ sub-tle.は、クラフトワーク / NEU! / la! Düsseldorfのクラウスディンガー率いる "la! Düsseldorf / japandorf" プロジェクトのメンバーである日本人2名 (オカモトサトシ + オノウチカズユキ) により結成され、現在オカモトのソロとしてヨーロッパで活動中のプロジェクト。 94年より音楽活動を開始したオカモトは、デジタル・ハードコアバンド ~ ギターポップバンドにて数々のオーディションでグランプリを受賞。99年からは東京にてソロ活動を開始し、二階堂和美、渚十吾等の活動にも携わる。 2001年よりドイツ・デュッセルドルフに活動拠点を移し、クラウス・ディンガーの "la! Düsseldorf / japandorf" プロジェクトに参加。 2003年からは sub-tle. としてドイツ・ベルギー・スペイン・フランス等、欧州各地にてインプロビゼーション主体のライブパフォーマンスを行う。舞踏・現代美術等、様々な分野で各国アーティストへの楽曲提供やコラボレーションにより、欧州各国から高い評価を得る。 2008年、オノウチと共にsub-tle.名義にて、ベルリンのレーベル onpa))))) ® より『pre_mary』をリリース。 アルバム収録曲は東京、名古屋、札幌のCRJにおいて、チャート１位を獲得。 同年、オカモトはsub-tle.名義にて、ドイツ国営放送ZDFにて放映された Luk Perceval監督によるドキュメンタリー・フィルム "Düsseldorf - mon amour" のサウンドトラックを担当し、話題となる。 2009年よりベルリンに拠点を移し、活動中。 |
